# Handoff

> Interview an agent after a completed trial.

Use handoff to resume a completed trial in the local agent CLI and **interview** the
agent directly. Ask it to explain its approach, decisions, or failures. We found it **more convenient** than looking at trajectory, particularly if it is long.
